This popped up in my news feed on facebook just now. I have read some of the comments, and they are pretty ridiculous. Wanna leave a comment too?? Just click the photo and it’ll take you right to the page.

That list of what makes a good life is full of ridiculous privilege, too.
Not everyone needs a masters or PhD to be happy, and not everyone cares about getting Honors, and not everyone can or wants to Backpack through Europe.  And most babies probably won’t discover the cure for cancer.
This is the same fallacy as “You could have killed the next President who would find World Peace!”  I mean, it could also be a serial killer. Either way, it doesn’t affect the legality of abortion, nor should it.

Dammit America

>Tell people to put their baby up for adoption>Just like the 120,000 children put up every year in America>Most (emphasis on MOST) ‘Anti-Choice are Republicans>Republicans hate depending on ‘the system’ and think Obama is a fucking commie socialist Hitler terrorist for idea like Welfare and healthcare>Put more children under care of ‘the system’, burdening it further.Conservative logic.-Alex

Alternate Babies bucket list. We can cross every number off the list, they will never get a chance to do these.
1. Be born addicted to heroin.
2. Burn ants on the sidewalk with a magnifying glass.
3. Starve without understanding why.
4. Be locked in a closet for 12 hours.
5. Suffer a painful life-threatening disability.
6. Learn little in school due to inadequate resources.
7. Be too poor to participate in extra-curricular activities.
8. Drop out of high school.
9. Binge drink.
10. Kill a rival gang member.
11. Go to prison.
12. Be discriminated against.
13. Wish they’d never been born.
14. Become the next Hitler.
15. Suffer an eating disorder.
There’s no guarantee of anything in life. It doesn’t mean the previous argument is invalid, but it doesn’t mean this list is invalid either.
